Gates

With ARXP high pressure washers it’s easy to remove mud, dust and debris that build up on gates, making them look unattractively grubby.

1

Before you begin, be sure to wear protective clothing and goggles to shield yourself from water spray. Ensure your ARXP pressure washer is properly connected to electrical and water supplies.

2

Start by pre-washing the gate with your pressure washer to loosen and soften any built-up grime. Use the adjustable jet nozzle set to the fan spray pattern, which allows you to quickly wet down the entire surface area.

Included Accessory: Adjustable jet nozzle

3

Fill the high-pressure foam lance with a pressure washer detergent. Apply it evenly across the gate surface, ensuring full coverage.
If you don’t have a dedicated pressure washer detergent, you can skip this step.

Included Accessory: High-Pressure foam lance
Optional Accessory:
UNIVERSAL Detergent

4

Once the detergent has dwelled, proceed with deep cleaning to remove ground-in dirt and grime.
  • If the gate is not painted, use the adjustable jet nozzle set to a tight, concentrated stream or the rotary jet nozzle for extra cleaning power on stubborn dirt.
  • If the gate is painted or made from more delicate materials, only use the adjustable jet nozzle without getting too close.
If using a BOX5 DTS or BOX4 DSS, we recommend the FAST MODE setting for non-delicate surfaces (like unpainted metal). Otherwise, use ECO MODE.

5

Thoroughly rinse the gate using the adjustable jet nozzle in fan mode to completely flush away any remaining detergent and dirt. Be sure to pass the water jet across the entire surface for full coverage.
